William Kendall
Founder and Director
Canberra
Will graduated from the University of Queensland in 2015 with a Bachelor of Civil and Geotechnical Engineering and began his early career in small-medium sized consulting firms in Brisbane. His initial work focused on residential building design, investigating building movement-related damage.
Transitioning to a mid-sized firm in Brisbane, Will gained experience in commercial and industrial building design. In addition, Will completed a certificate in metal arc welding, which has proven invaluable in enhancing his expertise in structural steel design and detailing.
Relocating to Canberra in 2019, Will joined a local Canberra consulting firm where he honed his skills in post-tensioned concrete slabs, industrial buildings, structural steel, high-end residential buildings and remedial works.
Outside of work, Will obtained his owner-builders license to renovate a 1930s cottage in Canberra's inner south. Over 18 months, while working full-time, Will rebuilt the entire house, gaining an invaluable insight into the residential building trade.
Throughout his career, Will has demonstrated a genuine passion for structural engineering, emphasising practical solutions and fostering client relationships – the premise of Kendall Consulting.
